Through a partnership with Vibes Mobile Marketing, WMAQ wanted to make the Chicago Bears Pre-Game Show more fun and engaging for viewers by making it interactive while generating new sponsorship opportunities.

and the Vibes’ Text TV service, enabled viewers to send in text messages to be automatically displayed in a lower-third. The messages were filtered and pre-screened for inappropriate language.  Mercy Hospital sponsor logo was on screen throughout the broadcast
Each fan received a return message thanking them and directing them to look for their message on screen – the sponsor’s name appeared in every message
